Find My Art in the Wild

It is my honor to have my work shown at Las Perra’s Cafe, in the East End area of Houston, from now until January of 2026. The opportunity of Las Perra’s Cafe’s Art as Resistance, Community as a Bridge exhibition and artist panel was the moving factor to getting myself out there and displaying this piece as a STATEMENT.

IMG_9882.jpeg Untitled, February 2025 was created in response to the various political news and events affecting the equalities of women, transgender rights, and much more at the beginning of this year. This piece pays homage to women, a tribute to the martyrs, who fought for what they believed in and wanted for future generations. The martyrs that are being set up everyday in our lives, outside them, and from across the world. Those who believe in fighting and dying for not only themselves but others. To educate and advocate. Though we live in a time where we have much, we also have truly little, so little that there is always a chance for future martyrs. For as long as the system is fighting/killing us ...we should be and will be doing it to them!

Excited for the creative paths you all will take me on. This is definitely an adventure I am looking forward to. Please share your thoughts on this piece and feel free to ask questions.
